CaribVoice’s Own Dr. Anita DeFoe Conducts Training for Philadelphia Head Start Program
Philadelphia, PA: Thought Leader, Dr. Anita Davis-DeFoe, in collaboration with Columbus Copeland, CEO of PEET, Inc. (Performance Enhancement Empowerment Training) based in Charlotte, North Carolina, conducted staff development sessions for the Philadelphia Head Start Program, September 1-2, 2010, in the city of brotherly love.
Aimed at enhancing the skills of staff so that they can more effectively serve children and families involved in Head Start Programs across the city, the training focused on teambuilding; personal attributes and skill sets that high performing staff display; organizational best practices; management and leadership competencies required in 21st century organizations striving to achieve performance excellence, as well as how to improve family support services. Head Start Programs across the country are focused on capacity building, and developing comprehensive family and parental involvement programs in response to the burgeoning early childhood development needs of today’s youth and their parents.

Bio – Stephanie Humphrey
As of late, Stephanie has just finished acting in the movie, “The Dark Fields” starring Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro, where she plays a role that comes natural to her, a reporter. She also had a similar credited role in the film “Law Abiding Citizen” starring Jamie Foxx.
She does more before twelve than most media personalities do in a day and she does it well! Multiformat reporter Stephanie Humphrey uses her composed combination of stunning beauty and brilliance, to bring to the industry a new vibrancy for on-air correspondence.
Drive and charm are the middle names of the former engineer who is accustomed to hard work and perfection. Stephanie writes her material, edits her work, and is as comfortable behind the camera as she is in front of it.
Raised in Pittsburgh, she began working in the entertainment industry by the simple act of chance. The then Lockheed Martin career woman was asked by an acquaintance to model at a small boutique store in Philadelphia. Stephanie saw this as an opportunity to do “a favor” for a friend, but was immediately inspired to shift the gears of her life.
Stephanie continued to model, turning her hidden passion into a part-time gig. After intense training in acting she began to garner small parts in commercials and movies. However, she decided to direct much of her energy to her greatest passion, television reporting and hosting. (click to read more) or visit www.stephaniehumphrey.com
